Proponents of peace argue that the pursuit of justice and accountability will only intensify the conflict, while proponents of justice argue that lasting peace is not possible without justice. The essential question is what is the relationship between peace and justice? Is the perception of incompatibility of peace and justice stemmed in reality or is it due to a misconception? The present article will argue that the perception of conflict between peace and justice is fundamentally incorrect. Peace is more than an immediate cessation of violence, and justice goes beyond punishment. Ultimately, there is an interaction between peace and justice, as justice is the basis for consolidating peace after conflict in war-torn societies. Therefore, both peace and justice must be achieved in such societies because a justice-oriented approach can provide an opportunity to foster and maintain lasting and comprehensive peace. However, it can also be said that each conflict has its own unique characteristics, and therefore, it is not possible to take a single approach to all non-international conflicts. The use of library data and international instruments and practice in the framework of a descriptive-analytical research, has helped us prove the utility and effectiveness of this approach. بین برقراری صلح از یک سو و اجرای عدالت از سوی دیگر، همواره در جوامع جنگ‌زده بحث و اختلاف‌نظر بوده است. طرفداران صلح معتقدند پیگیری عدالت و پاسخگویی صرفاً سبب تشدید درگیری می‌شود و در مقابل طرفداران عدالت و پاسخگویی معتقدند که برقراری صلح پایدار بدون عدالت امکان‌پذیر نیست. پرسش اصلی موضوع نوشتار حاضر این است که نسبت میان صلح و عدالت در واقع امر چیست؟ تلقی دوگانگی ریشه در واقعیت دارد یا ناشی از تصوری نادرست از این دو مفهوم است؟ مقالۀ حاضر به این رویکرد گراییده است که موضوع دوگانگی و تضاد میان صلح و عدالت اساساً نادرست است. صلح مسئله‌ای بیش از توقف فوری خشونت بوده و به همین ترتیب عدالت نیز امری فراتر از مجازات است، در نهایت اینکه میان صلح و عدالت تعامل وجود دارد و عدالت زمینه‌ساز تحکیم صلح پس از درگیری در جوامع جنگ‌زده است. بنابراین، صلح و عدالت توأمان باید در جوامع جنگ‌زده پس از درگیری مورد توجه قرار گیرد، چراکه رویکرد عدالت‌محور می‌تواند فرصتی را برای پرورش و برقراری صلح پایدار و جامع فراهم سازد. هرچند می‌توان گفت هر درگیری ویژگی خاص و منحصربه‌فردی دارد و ازاین‌رو شاید نتوان رویکرد واحد و مناسبی را برای همۀ درگیری‌ها در نظر گرفت. بهره‌گیری از داده‌های کتابخانه‌ای، اسناد و رویه‌های بین‌المللی در قالب پژوهشی توصیفی- تحلیلی راقمان این نوشتار را در اثبات سودمندی و مؤثر بودن رویکرد یادشده یاری رسانده است. https://jplsq.ut.ac.ir/article_84016_3ab2d0b4c0d84efc46d46e9bda7a5daa.pdf
