Abstract
Advocacy plays an important role in the administration of justice. At present, the criteria for admission to the legal profession are insufficient, allowing some weak participants to enter the profession of law. The substantial increase in the number of trainees all at once, without aligning with the existing capacity, leads to nothing but deficiencies in training. In cases where these lawyers seek to compensate for their academic and practical weaknesses through advertising to attract clients, the consequences of this practice affect all parties involved in the case, including the client, the attorny, and the judiciary. On a larger scale, the negative impact of this practice extends to the judiciary and the legal system, as well as the public perception of the legal profession. The present research proposes to address this shortcoming by strengthening the criteria for admission and entrance examinations, aligning the supervisory bodies (inspection and disciplinary authorities), and making legislative reforms regarding the profession of law to classify and specialize lawyers. Justice requires consideration of classification and a system of multiple levels. It is also influenced by the specialization of legal fields and the creation of various dimensions of this science, which are based on societal needs. Harmonizing the profession of advocacy with this reality and considering its specialized structure is essential; neglecting this issue will result in stagnation and a lack of progress and development in the field.
