Sa'adi should be considered more than a poet or literary man; he is also a great scientist, scholar and jurisprudent. Based on the Quran and Ahlolbeyt (members of prophet Mohammad’s family)’s teachings, he has created a prism in terms of prose and poetry as a monument. It is well-known that the works of Sa'adi cover various topics. This research is an endeavor to understand his less-known legal thoughts . It is possible to find many legal topics in the works of Sa'adi regarding constitutional, administrative, criminal, and procedural law that are compatible with Islamic jurisprudence. The findings of this research show that Sa'adi’s works include various legal points in the said fields which can explain his legal thoughts.
