The Public Law Studies Quarterly (PLSQ) is a specialized open-access journal published by the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Tehran. The PLSQ has been published since the spring of 2015 on a quarterly (four editions a year) basis and was originally ranked as an “academic-research-oriented” journal by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (according to letter no.  3/18/202070 dated February 8, 2015). The Journal's scope includes: public law, international law and human rights law. The PLSQ is published with the cooperation of the Iranian Association of Administrative Law.

In view of article 2-5 of the By-Law on Academic Journals dated April 22, 2019 by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the PLSQ only accepts original research articles. The PSLQ follows a double blind peer review process whereby at least two reviewers evaluate a manuscript. Upon acceptance by the reviewers, the manuscript will be considered by the Editorial Board and if approved it will be published. This Journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. The PLSQ uses plagiarism checker software by the Sharif Pardazesh Danesh (SINAWEB) Company to prevent plagiarism in submitted manuscripts.

The PLSQ is published online and in print. Author(s) is/are required to pay manuscript submission charge and publication fee.The author(s) is/are requested to study the Guide for Authors before submitting their manuscript. If the instructions set out in the Guide for Authors are not applied, the manuscript will only once be returned to the Author(s) for the necessary corrections as per the Guide for Authors.
